Pros

Lindamoodbell has a fun environment with a lot of support. There is very thorough training provided from the start and you never felt like you were on your own.

Cons

Some of the work felt repetitive. I was in a smaller office so I sometimes worked with the same student more than once a day so it was hard to keep it interesting for the students as well as myself.

Pros

Great company--excellent learning strategies for kiddos having difficulty with reading/spelling. The salary is not fantastic, but they do give paid training. It's an excellent skill set to have.

Cons

Salary is really not competitive and certainly doesn't allow one to live in Marin County!

Programs Work. Revenue is Paramount. Management Style Severe.

Pros

The greatest aspect of this company is that the programs work. Very exciting to see the monumental changes with most of the students in a relatively short period of time.

Cons

LBLP is a business first and foremost. Nepotism and favoritism at the top management levels. Too little training for all staff. They base their culture on Disney which I abhorred for so many reasons (research Disney and mind control). They pay little for the tutors and consultants though parents pay up to $120/hour. The management style of those at the top leaves little to be desired. Very controlling and, for the most part, not effective role models. Passive aggressive management.
