Pros

Freedom to do what you need to do to get the job done. If the customer is happy, then they are happy. Pay is a bit above average for this area.

Cons

PTO is wanting.

Pros

Great environment to get experience and hands on with desktop and laptops.

Cons

Answering phones can be stressful yet rewarding. Do not expect tuition reimbursement, It has to be IT specific in relation to your job and title.

This is one of the worst companies I've ever come across. I was working for another company on a government contract when LSi took over the contract. They were bad right out of the gate and it only got worse. Coming in, they asked everyone for pay stubs so they could make us an offer that wouldn't "insult" us but then they slashed our salaries and finally admitted they never even considered our current salaries b/c they won the fixed contract based on paying us the minimum. So that's what we were stuck with. They also cut our PTO and claimed we had to work for 12 months after being employed with them before we received any PTO. Who can work 354 days without being sick or having a sick child at least 1 day!? -And then it was only 10 days to cover vacation and sick time. They say they'll give XYZ benefits when on-boarding employees but then when it comes time to actually use those benefits, HR won't respond to emails and if they do, there's some new reason why you now don't get that benefit. It took one employee 6 months to get reimbursed for a pair of steel toe shoes he needed for his job. Another employee was supposed to get PTO 4 months ago and they're still waiting for it. Their HR dept is completely incompetent. Additionally, they'll tell you one thing one day then contradict what they stated the following week depending on if it benefits the company. Even if you give HR the government regulations that clearly state what they must do, they deny deny deny. And if that's not enough, they micromanage everyone like they're schoolchildren instead of educated adults. Every week, employees have to prove their jobs are justified. -Nothing like working with a big target on your back. RUN like a prison break... I did.
