Pros

Sales people. Products historically did what they were intended to do. Equipment is currently the best on the market. That will change as well.

Cons

Management by intimidation. Company now has such a negative place in the market they will never have future growth. Took commissions from sales people to enhance bottom line because growth will be non existent.

Pros

Diverse product line. One of the few hopes for people with epilepsy that doesn't respond to drugs or other treatments. Many good, dedicated, expert people.

Cons

Since the merger, the Neuromodulation Division (formerly Cyberonics) management has become a horror show. Had to leave to preserve my reputation and sanity. I'm not the only one to make this move.

I suppose the product in neuromodulation for drug resistant epilepsy patients is now 26 years old and so is quite established

Cons

….physicians who are key strategic epilepsy leaders - were deeply irked that sales people were walking around their main academic and community hospitals in scrubs actively pretending to be doctors and nurses - telling patients what they should do- on and certainly off label. So much pressure to do the wrong thing in marketing materials- extremely blatantly so- and if you don’t comply- they go after you. If this company gets a backbone it would be to begin to understand 1-2 simple laws they need to function by just like almost everywhere else.
