Pros

They used to offer remote work, good pay, and that was about it.

Cons

This company needs to stop commenting to negative reviews here that some employees have been impacted by the recent reduction in force (Fall 2022) and thus are jaded and prone to leaving negative feedback. This company needs to learn to own their own mistakes. The list of cons is so long that it would not fit here. Leave this company, or avoid it altogether as you will face nothing but mismanagement, false promises, and some serious business challenges, long term and short term. Without going further in detail, their stock was over $80 two years ago, only to hover around $15 a couple of months ago. If that does not speak for itself, then I do not know what will - and it has nothing to do with negative reviews here or impacted/laid off employees. The CEO needs to resign if this company wants to stand the chance. Senior management needs to stop acting as if they are the orchestra on the Titanic, continuing to play music while it's sinking and they are acting as if nothing is wrong. This company is obsessed with their reputation and will go into great lengths to get their new employees to post here glowing reviews. How can you post a review if you just recently started your job? How about when you are out of that place, jaded or not?

Pros

The benefits at LiveRamp are great and there are so many intelligent and talented people who work here.

Cons

The great culture LiveRamp was known for no longer exists. What once was an amazing and exciting place to work is now grim, toxic, and stressful. It doesn't matter if you're a top performer; if you don't agree with how things are being done and even think of speaking up, don't be surprised if you're told to see yourself out the door. The new CPO has brought all her friends on as leaders on the P&C team and they're all extremely cliquey. If you're not part of their clique or a "yes man", you're done for and should start looking for a new job. P&C leadership is all talk and takes no accountability for their actions. All they do is talk in circles and are happy to point fingers at others when something goes wrong and doesn't go as they planned. They all say they are "data-driven" but I have yet to see any numbers, analytics, and information that back up their claims on why they're doing what they're doing and why LiveRamp is "DownRamping" as another employee stated. If you see any positive reviews, they're most likely from new hires who haven't yet seen or experienced the culture catastrophe here at LiveRamp, or they're from the CPOs clique. Be careful with what you say and know that when leadership tells you "the door is always open to chat" just know there is a possibility that the door is a trap door that can lead to you being demoted, laid off, or fired.

Continuous Layoffs - Offshore Strategy

Pros

-Great teammates that are intelligent, helpful, and hardworking -Pay is competitive -Decent benefits -Work is interesting and challenging -Direct managers do not micro manage

Cons

After a round of layoffs in November 2022, in July 2023, we were made aware of the offshore strategy where US employees would begin to be laid off and a company in India would begin to setup offices there that would replace those US employees. We were told this process of layoffs will span the length of multiple years and company leaders did not have details about what teams/individuals will be affected. These layoffs have continued to happen every quarter and management refuses to provide any details about who was affected each time - hiding behind the "out of respect for those impacted" line. It is very difficult to function at a high level with this hanging over all employees' heads and we are only 6 months in to the multiple years! Another round of these secret layoffs happened again yesterday. It is so discouraging to be left completely in the dark about something that affects all teams.
