Pros

You do learn a lot about digital marketing, good for experience, and people are generally nice.

Cons

The pay is 40k + commission. They might say you make more in commission, but if you are really good at sales why not go work for a company that pays more for your selling ability? It's not worth it to work hard here because the compensation just isn't worth your time and effort. When you first choose to work at LP you know you will be underpaid. If you need the experience, stay for a while, but then go somewhere else and get a raise. This is a place that targets recent graduates with no experience. If you do join, prepare to be set up for failure because their training is non-existent and nobody will have time to teach you anything. You learn on your own. This is a high-pressure work environment almost similar to Amazon they love to PIP. Also, be prepared for a lot of work. Even though they value work-life balance. They do not have enough people to handle all the clients they are onboarding which means you are pressured to do more work than you can handle. You might question if it's worth it to take time off or feel guilty for leaving additional work for your coworkers to work on.

Thank you for the feedback. The PSS role does not have a sales element involved. People in this position typically only speak to clients at the beginning of the relationship, so there is no pressure to sell anything. We have a three-month training program that is fairly extensive and uses multiple teaching styles. Employees can use the method that resonates with them the most. We are also fully staffed for this role and are not looking to hire until the new year. Each employee is in charge of their workload and has the ability to onboard or offload accounts as they see fit once they are at a certain level. PIPs in this role are somewhat rare but are used to ensure we are delivering the highest quality service to our clients. Thank you again for the feedback and we wish you the best in all of your future endeavors. -SMB Search Leadership
