Pros

Everyone seems to be a big believer in affordable housing. Working with tenants is cool, and the ones where I worked at seemed to like the housing.

Cons

Leadership seems to fear change or improving how they do things at the sites.

Exploits workers

Pros

You get to help people who really need it. If you're lucky enough to work at a LIHI project where you have some freedom and a good supervisor, it can be a decent job.

Cons

Pay is terrible and top level management doesn't seem to care about workers out at the properties.
