Pros

Nice car and nice technology

Cons

No wfh policy. Have to be on site. I was told the role was hybrid, but it isnt. A lot of people are testing positive. Lucid does not care. Barely hand sanitizers around. People not always wearing masks.

Thank you for your candid feedback. We appreciate the contributions made by each member of the Lucid family, and safety is of the utmost priority. We have instituted protocols throughout the COVID-19 pandemic that align with, and in many cases, exceed the current guidance provided by CDC, state, and local governments and health departments. Lucid offers free masks for all employees, and provides rapid tests to potentially exposed employees at its Newark facilities. If you are a current employee and are looking for a test, please contact the COVID-19 response team. You can also contact an HR partner or the Compliance hotline to provide additional feedback or further discuss your concerns.

Pros

Opportunity to advance in a growing field. Learn as much as possible then run.

Cons

Diversity is stated but isn’t true.Management is majorly male white or Mexican. No 401K match, no work/life balance. Your work is not appreciated and HR is there to socialize. California departments think they rule but will not make decisions. Managers with no one reporting to them.

Pros

Incredibly talented team hand picked from around the world for their skill and experience, integrated in a strong team, working on a truly exciting vision. The level of knowledge and expertise in the team is inspiring, and challenges you to up your game. You learn and grow more here in six months than in years at a traditional automotive OEM. Product development approach is different to a traditional OEM, as is the way in which the whole team works together for the benefit of the product. You have significant responsibility in your role, and can really influence and shape the product. Free breakfast, snacks and drinks, and in-work social events, help with the silicon valley feel. Pay and stock options are competitive.

Cons

The nature of the products, and the short development timeframe, mean the hours can be long. But when you're excited and fired up the days fly by. With a smaller team compared to a typical OEM, you need to cover a much larger set of responsibilities which can be daunting. However, you learn a diverse skill set very quickly.
