Pros

Great teams, nice people. Interesting projects. Brilliant coworkers.

Cons

Some shared services are not as well supported as others. Salaries are not tied to performance. Many are paid well below market value regardless of accomplishments. Our bonuses have been cut to nothing or almost nothing for two years while executives take home massive paychecks.

Pros

-top notch patient care and genuine community - good collaboration between teams and departments to get the job done - tech is much better than other healthcare orgs - coworkers become family - flexible working hours for non-clinical - executives are friendly and get to know staff

Cons

- lack of in house professional development or mentorship programs/coaching - no market adjustments so you only get 1 to 3% yearly merit raise once you're employed but sometimes thats 30k less than competitors driving talent elsewhere - very average benefits package and underwhelming pto compared to industry standards

Excellent staff, coworkers, and free parking

Cons

Always taking from staff when they are in need of money savings. Took cafeteria discount, cut leave benefits accrual rate, decreased raise amount, took matching 401/403 for a year, too many "leaders" (very top heavy) no transparency. Leave benefits are horrible.

Thank you for your feedback. Our health system, as well as many others around the country, have faced significant financial challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our leadership is committed to finding solutions to stabilize the system – which sometimes include difficult choices. The current benefit changes are for fiscal year 2021 only, and are in direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are already planning to restore these benefits for the 2022 fiscal year.
