Pros

The team is spectacular and the main reason I love this company. There are a lot of really talented, kind, and experienced people here who make every day enjoyable. I found that people across the org go above and beyond to help me out and fill any gaps that come with being a high growth, fast paced startup. Especially since I am a junior engineer, I was lucky to have a lot of senior engineers and an excellent manager to mentor me. On the flip side, I was given a ton of responsibility and full ownership of many interesting projects, which was an awesome learning experience that helped me to grow quickly as an engineer. Lastly, the mission is great and people at the org are motivated to make a positive impact, which was a prerequisite for me when job hunting.

Cons

It is a fast paced startup with ambitious plans, so stress levels can vary. Stress is generally higher than working at a big company, but for a startup the work life balance is pretty good and any time you need off is respected by management. Pay is not as good as I’d like.
