      Pros

      Lunar has been great about hiring a variety of folks; career backgrounds, cultural backgrounds, LGBTQIA community members, etc. It gives a wider base of experience and options of how to tackle the next obstacle at work. It gives employees the opportunity to connect with folks; to share, to listen and to grow as whole humans.

      Cons

      With such a self motivated group, it is easy to forget that everyone is already giving their max effort. There are global situations that are out of any one individual's control and sometimes that means aggressive deadlines are not met.

      - Strong team (experience and collaborative mindset) - Rapidly growing company - Exciting product development that is moving quickly - Welcoming of new ideas or improvements you can push forward - Working with a mission / impact in mind - Executive team transparency, all-hands following board meetings - Challenging but rewarding problems to solve Perks - Lunch - More coffee equipment than I know how to use - Fun happy hours - Flexible WFH policy (may be dependent on role, don't quote me) - Snacks/Drinks

      - Aggressive timelines - Ambiguity at times in a rapidly growing startup - Need to continue growing team to improve coverage

      Most exciting energy startup in the bay

      Pros

      Great product addressing a huge market. A very strong technology stack with a clear, immediate path to commercialization - rare for any startup in this space. A ton of room to grow - people are encouraged to take on new challenges, jump in to fill gaps, and grow together with the company. Love being around my co-workers, who are the most talented, open-minded genuine, and fun people I've met. On top of that - great lunch and coffee options, well-planned company events, flexibility on remote work, culture that celebrates diversity and inclusiveness, very wholesome workplace in general.

      Cons

      Timeline is very aggressive and can be stressful Processes can be messy but just typical of any startup
