Pros

I am here because I believe in the mission but I am disappointed in management. Favoritism is a problem here. I come to work not kiss up. I am here for a check.

Cons

No systems in place. Too many chiefs not enough indians.

Pros

Lunar is my favorite company I've worked for because: 1. It fills me with pride to work in renewables - love when people ask what I do and it's something impactful. 2. I've noticed my hard work get rewarded. As the company has grown, I've been given opportunities to grow my career into management and wear hats outside of my traditional role. 3. People are respectful and default to kindness vs defaulting to arrogance/rudeness when working together.

Cons

At the end of the day, Lunar is still a for-profit company, so there are some downsides: 1) I'd rather be at the beach or spending time with friends and family than working at Lunar. 2) The impact one company can have is limited compared to the impact of public policy. 3) Hardware is inherently challenging. The deadlines matter, and there are occasional late nights as deadlines approach, and many roles require a few days in the office, which is unfortunately located in Mountain View.
