Pros

Genuinely new technology and a chance to shape the future of imaging. Not many places where you get to actually be hands on with sophisticated hardware.

Cons

Making the entire platform work requires all the teams to be sucessful. Some times it seems like certain teams aren't getting it done.

I like Lytro a lot

Pros

Smart people, innovative products, and good work life balance. As someone who is interested in photography I really enjoy working at Lytro. Coworkers are nice and senior management is accessible. CEO is present, involved daily, and supportive. Lots of perqs like yoga classes, free lunch/ drinks/ snacks, and a relaxed but focussed work environment.

Cons

Fairly early stage so not a huge list of customers yet but exciting to be part of inventing new things that have never been done before. To be expected at a start-up.
