Pros

- great people - great culture - mature processes and resources dedicated to making product development easy - solid compensation - really nice facilities - leadership you can believe in and want to work for - lots of opportunities to learn and grow I started my career at Lytx and loved it, but the compensation was a little on the low side. Unfortunately I was forced to pursue another job because of that. Being at another company without all Lytx’s positive qualities made me truly realize how great I had it at Lytx. When I heard they fixed the compensation issue, I couldn't return fast enough. I'm very happy to be back, and now can't imagine wanting to leave.

Cons

- commuting to the UTC area isn't ideal

Thanks for your review. We work hard to make Lytx a place people love to work, and we've improved our compensation packages. Welcome back.

Pros

-One of the best places I've worked at for learning and growing as an engineer. -Lot's of different technologies to utilize and learn. Tech stack is relatively modern and improving as the software industry moves. -Everyone I've worked with has a good attitude and is very collaborative. -Interesting product(s) that build on the main platform -Work/Life balance is great. I never feel like work impacts my life outside, and I only work extra when I feel motivated to do more. -We have a voice. Regular quarterly meetings to discuss feedback given by employees and action items on management to address them. -The company well being seems healthy and growing rapidly.

Cons

-Compensation is average, but this is after the rates were adjusted to match the market (and constant feedback from employees). Also, while entry was adjusted greatly, the mid-senior level compensation packages did not really change much. It's good they're listening, but considering the growth and well being of the company (at least from my understanding during quarterly reviews), I feel a bit more can be offered to employees. Especially in the engineering side where it is very competitive. -Legacy code tends to be a constant hindrance. Not really a Lytx specific problem, but I do think we should push harder on getting off of it.

Pros

Market leader Centrally located HQ Nice office space Decent pay Mostly friendly staff Good company for recent college grads or early-stage career opportunities

Cons

Highly politicized environment, particularly amongst senior executives Senior executives playing favorites with some employees which are widely acknowledged as not adding value, but are liked by CEO or others on executive team Senior executives focused more on their big stock option payouts rather than sharing incentives with employees who are actually responsible for the company’s growth Company carries poor/low performing employees too long HR pretends to be open to feedback then uses it against you Healthcare benefits not as good as they used to be
