The organization demonstrates a lack of consistent support and consideration for employee well-being. Situations involving medical needs, pregnancy, or personal emergencies are not always handled with the level of understanding one would expect. Employees who have exhausted their PTO may still face disciplinary action, including write-ups or termination, regardless of the circumstances.
There is also a lack of work-life balance. Employees are required to rebid for shifts every few months, and selected schedules are not guaranteed, as assignments are determined based on seniority. This creates instability and makes it difficult to maintain consistent personal and family commitments.
There is a strong emphasis on performance monitoring, including mandatory weekly meetings with supervisors to review and critique calls. While feedback is important, the frequent changes to policies, procedures, and expectations can create confusion and make it difficult for employees to consistently meet standards.
Additionally, employees may be placed on action plans for minor infractions, including time taken for personal needs such as restroom use, without sufficient consideration of individual circumstances. Communication from management can be inconsistent, and concerns are not always addressed in a constructive or transparent manner.
Furthermore, employees returning from leave may encounter limited flexibility regarding scheduling adjustments or part-time arrangements, even when there are legitimate personal or medical reasons. This lack of accommodation can be particularly challenging for long-tenured employees.
I would not recommend this company due to its lack of support, poor communication, and rigid policies that do not consider employee well-being.
