Pros

This is one of best company in Sri Lanka. The local benchmarking institute LMD 50 frequently put this company to list of best companies in Sri Lanka. I agree with this ratings. Good salary, free transportation, subsidized breakfast and lunch for executives and managers (free for workers) and a lot of opportunities to grow and perform. The company culture is too competitive and demanding. It is work hard play hard culture, you must work very hard to perform. But frequently they have massive entertainment events, specially for executives and above. You can enjoy to the max. Imagine a night at five star hotel beach with unlimited food drinks, a musical event where starts of the country hang around with you like friends and a talk show where your cricket star will answer your question. They have created such a great culture.

Cons

Unfortunately this company is mostly directed by people with sport background, who overrated the competition within the organization to boost the productivity. It has worked wonderfully for short term. But I must say it is not a sustainable approach for a company with more than 40000 employees. This work culture boosts the productivity of extraverts but it inhibits the potentials of introverts with massive potentials and strong academic back grounds. If you are too academic with innocent personality I would suggest you to not to select this company, you will ended up with greatest regret in your life.
