This company could be so much better

Pros

Good stable company with an owner that truly cares about his employees

Cons

No training available, everyone basically teaches themselves good or bad. The company is based on a very cheap business model (save a penny to spend a dollar). Not good at building their own brands, MAT leans on private label partners to build market share. In general it's a sad atmosphere, not many people are excited to be there.

Pros

A lot of opportunities to get into some exciting big projects even an entry level, good career accelerator for young person even if the company itself is not that famous, the SAP system is awesome, simplify lots of tactical jobs

Cons

Pay is below the market, some managers are quite micromanagement while not for all the managers, still family owned company without too many internal promoting opportunities

Pros

5-6 weeks PTO that doesn't count against vacation time. Salary based so no stress to meet quota. .

Cons

95% travel across many states. No bonus plan.
