      Pros

      Your coworkers are some of the best people you meet, unfortunately they are taken for granted and paid much less than their worth

      Cons

      Pay is so low in research you might as well be a volunteer. Instead of promotions you get more more responsibilities, like whole jobs added, with zero acknowledgement or thanks. Watch out when they give you more responsibilities, even if you do everything extra they ask they will punish you for the smallest mistake

      Pros

      Benefits, good insurance (for American standards), Matching contributions, FSA. Good gym.

      Cons

      Management demands working overtime without pay. Mistreating management. Unfairness in job distribution. No help from HR. They use visa sponsorship as threat for complying with their demands. No life/work balance. No salary negotiation possible for internationals, even when staggering inflation. Few to none PTO and have to use for medical issues/maternity leave.

      • health benefits / teacher retirements savings is great

      Cons

      • you can lose up to $200+/month just to come to work and park • now they are making you do projects, join committees, submit research, etc to get a raise • cafeteria SUCKS - limited whole foods • VERY strict with documentation • have to self-audit our documentation • constant modules online about the same things every few months
