Pros

None that came within my time

Cons

Low pay compared to other companies in the area, below average commission, below average housing discount. Community was sold and MG took over as management. Whole team stayed onboard, whole team left within 2 months. Went to HR about the hostile work environment, was told to get over it and talk it out. Asked to do illegal charges on previous residents ledgers, was told not to question it and it’s the “standard”. HR is a joke, regionals are on power trips. Was happy to quit without notice.

Pros

It was great while it lasted. Started as a leasing agent and work my up to assistant manager. I had great mentors during my time there. They treated us with respect and not just a number. During those times it was a lot of fun and laughter. As long you did your work you won’t have any issues. It’s a great work life balance as long as you make it that way. I’ve been there for awhile so my pto would rack up like crazy and my pto was never denied as long as the business needs were meant. Besides that the leasing bonus is amazing.

Cons

I can adapt to change very quickly as the Las Vegas region have gone through so many regionals. But as of feb 2024 that’s when things were changing for the worst. The upper management has no form of emotional intelligence and have no form of understanding that there is a new generation that is coming to the work force that will not tolerate dictatorship. The way they would speak about people is absolutely horrific for being in the position they is in. They needs to realize that the walls are thin in the office and I have heard things that would make hr cringe. The all new managers that upper management has hired are bunch of butt kissers who don’t stand up for their employees. They don’t work at all, all they do is hide behind their office doors and let the leasing agents and assistant do all the work and having to deal with difficult resident That is screaming at our faces. All the employees that has been there for more than 5 years have left within 6 months of the regional employment. You would think it would be a major red flags to the executives but it seems like they don’t care at all. The most disappointing thing is that they say that we can’t get raises but once I put in my notice all of a sudden they wanted to give me a nice raise even though I was asking for it in Jan. What happened to “the company doesn’t have any $” bunch of baloney. This made me realize what’s the whole point of working hard? Just for a quarter raise. What a joke.

Pros

While there are some positives to working here, such as great colleagues and opportunities to gain experience, there are some notable downsides.

Cons

The workload is extremely high and often unrealistic given the pay level, which is below industry standards. Expectations are high, yet resources and support from upper management are lacking. Upper management often feels disconnected from the daily realities the onsite team faces. Metrics are demanding, but staffing and support to meet these goals are insufficient, leading to burnout and frustration among employees. Suggestions and concerns raised by the team rarely feel acknowledged or addressed by leadership. If you’re looking for an environment that values reasonable workload expectations, and fair compensation / benefit package, this may not be the best fit.
