Pros

Good work life balance If you're a sales person you can get paid well to do very little. You might even get promoted.

Cons

Lots of sales people get paid well to do very little and taking care of customer needs falls on to other people with zero repercussions. Way too top heavy with managerial roles, many of them held by people who aren't really qualified and/or knowledgeable about industrial supply. Minimal cooperation between departments in many cases. Training is either non existent or not good. Lots of ideas and initiatives get brought up only to disappear and never be mentioned again.
