MSC Software does too many lay-offs even and shifted most jobs to India

Pros

You can get too much free time in your work and thus one can do your personal work in between.

Cons

Promotion is hard to impossible even though company has too much cash still they aren't offering any bonuses to employees since 2008 when the company went into private management of Symphony Technology Group(STG)

It was a great place to work, I was always treated with respect. My manager was great and very understanding.

Cons

It was hard to move upward with so many employees gunning for the same spot. A number of layoffs were taking place.
