      Burnout and blame

      Pros

      On the whole, people are nice, and the pay can be good. Diversity and inclusion seems a genuine concern, not just a fad.

      Cons

      Ingrained culture of blame and fear. Middle management are terrified of the Board and this gets pushed down on to the lower levels. You only have realistic promotion opportunities if you are in a strategically important position, if not you'll languish in one place, and the promotion system is stupid anyway. It seems to be company policy to push burnt out employees out rather than fix the issues with middle management.

      Located above Moorgate station Free drinks every quarter

      Cons

      Senior Management Team jump to please the board and don't really have a clue. Flexible working does not exist pre-covid. Company name and shame employees who do not fill in timesheets on time (employees who work at the head office). No diversity within employees working at the head office. Who shouts the loudest culture. Lack of personal development and training (very limited funding which is on a first come first served basis) Too much favouritism within the team to be promoted. The business talks about wellbeing and mental health, however, this is not implemented in the day to day working environment. Too much office politics and no trust. Feel like the business dictates when members of the team can take leave and do not allow taking leave on Fridays or Mondays.

      Modern office space in central London

      Cons

      Very catty and clicky. Poor culture, openly discuss sensitive information in an open plan environment. People shouting at each other across desks because they do not like each other. Management seem to think this is appropriate behaviour. Either there is little awareness from senior management around the toxic environment or they simply do not care. Zero strategy or direction for teams. Whilst there is a bonus scheme, if you're not in the click you get the absolute minimum, performance goes out of the window.
