Pros

The Store Management program does a good job of immersing you in the day-to-day management of the brick and mortar system

Cons

Very little preparation for hectic holiday season

Pros

Thrown into the fire, so you get a lot of on-the job experience like hiring/firing, sales techniques, and training associates

Cons

Thrown into the fire of managing a department, and judged off of sales that have more to do with how the company is doing than your particular efforts. They advertise it as a fast-track into corporate management, but in reality you will just be a retail manager of some department wherever they choose. You'll likely be understaffed and underhelped
