Pros

The company was very centered around women and would was very generous to women with chidlren. However, if you weren't a woman with a small child there wasn't a lot to look forward to.

Cons

Some management was great, but others were promoted because they were more friendly with upper management, not because of their sales or skills. HR wasn't helpful at all in assisting employees with high review scores to advance in the company and were completely out of it when it came to advancing management with better skills.

Pros

Great employees. Benefits that are on par with other retailers. A lot of opportunity for advancement. Now that they're operating as one company, greater focus is now being placed on developing best practices, and investment in resources.

Cons

Lack of communication between job functions. Everyone operates in a silo. High turnover for entry level employees. Compensation that is fair in most areas.
