Pros

Working with Macy's will give you a sense of confidence in approaching individuals and simply lend a hand to them and support them on what they need. You'll also build your communication skills and sound more professional with other people.

Cons

Some downsides are when there are no customers and you are lead to daydream or just walk around.

Pros

- Works around school schedule - Management somewhat cares about employees - LGBT friendly - Good Loss Prevention Team - Good feedback on job performance - Out of work at a reasonable time

Cons

- Longer hours than other retail places - Policies always changing - Most positions not commission based - Push for charge apps, but you'll find this at any retail location

Pros

Big company, opportunity for networking with people from different areas of business (accounting, finance, marketing, customer service, legal, etc). Opportunity to work on large-scale, nation-wide assignments. Very fast-paced.

Cons

Very little opportunity for professional growth and development due to triangle-shaped pyramid (more opportunities while you are at the low level, but the higher you are the fewer opportunities there are)
