      It's been a pretty okay experience during my time working for Macy's. That's the best way I can describe it.

      Pros

      A good pick for part-timers.That employee discount is okay also. You get to meet a lot of diverse people. You get rewards for showing above and beyond costumer service.

      Cons

      Have to grab shifts quick because all the ones that might fit nicely into your schedule will be taken in a hot second. The occasional grumpy on my last nerve shopper. The only way to get rewards is if a floor manger is there to witness your display of exemplary costumer service. The move around a lot so don't bet on it unless your a sales associate.

      Great discounts you can go through the clothing while you work pretty okay pay not a too bad atmosphere

      Cons

      The co workers are annoying they are catty and can't get along with each other sort of annoying but easy to get through if you know how to ignore people

      Pros

      Most employees are nice. Often easy to get people to pick up shifts you don't want or can't work. Good training. Paid training. 20 percent employee discount and chance to earn Macy's Money for doing tasks. Management decides on MM amount, from making goals, to opening credit cards etc.

      Cons

      I was told I could pick up hours when I needed them, but for the past few months no hours have been available. As a part timer I've been working only 12-18 hours a week when I was told I could flex up to 30 hours. Management often pressures you to make goals that are impossible and are mean to you because they feel pressure from higher ups.
