Pros

employee discount, really meet good talented people here to bad the store does not notice the talent in some people and only hire ignorant people for low positions and just white people for higher positions. and minorities get low management positions or just sales positions.

Cons

the only watch black employees and black customers. other employees and customers will rob the store blind but no one is paying attention to them. One way they will do it is ring up there friends and give them free merchandise and let them walk out the store. plus the dont really check the bags of every employee unless your black or hispanic otherwise other people will walk out with alot of stuff. people will over change there friends on purpose but do it by small amounts so no one will really notice. like give a friend 10 dollar change when they only paid 5.00 for a product because the other products did not get rung up. they will fire a black employee for coming in late a lot but not fire a white employee that always calls out sick. treat everyone equally hire minorities to higher levels not low levels. Customers can tell and will stop spending when they here this and notice these things.

Pros

Maybe salary,, Nothing else to mention.

Cons

1. Bad benefits 2. Company almost "owned" by consultants from India. Their professional experience is far away from desirable level. 3. IT managers are mostly with marketing or sales background. Look at their LinkedIn profiles (Politics, English, business administration, Arts, Theology, Agriculture, etc). 4. Work-life balance is rough. Minimum 50 hours a week . The level of expectation is often unrealistic. 5. Company with a good past process history is now a chaotic mess with different methodologies by department or even by team (D2C, HR, Stores, etc.) 6. Favoritism and cliques. 7. High levels of stress (dis-ease) and dissatisfaction. 8. The meeting culture is unsustainable and unproductive. No time to do real things. 9. Pervasive poor communication between employees and management.

Pros

Macy's discount is about all there is going for this place. No personal growth at all in this environment.

Cons

Where to start : Bench process for promotion is based on being friends with your management. HR is looking out for Managers or above, the few people who do the work are not valued. Place to retire if you don't have any motivation to further your career. There is an acceptance for complacency from management. A lot of "friend" games being played in different groups. Pay, benefits, raises are terrible. Lots of MST lifers just going through each day waiting for retirement. Only management and above get bonuses at end of year.
