Employee Harassment & Bullying, Religious Intolerance, Falsification of Employee Reviews, Violation of Labor Laws

There is NOTHING positive about Macy's. This company reaches a new low each year in regards to its treatment of its employees.
Cons
1. Systematically forcing out employees who are aged 50 and older. They individually tailor their harassment campaign to make it difficult to prove harassment based upon age 2. Don't ever give them any personal information i.e. how many children you have, your hobbies or interests. They will later try to use it against you. 3.This company has consistently become worst each year since it changed from being Rich's Department Store. 4. Sales and support staff are paid so poorly that at one point phone numbers for social service agencies were posted in the employee break room. Meanwhile the CEO receives a 7 million dollar bonus. 5. The employee break room is roach infested, dirty, and lacking ventilation. 6. During the summer months the inside temperatures in many departments reached 80 degrees. 7. Religious intolerance if you work in a Macy's in the bible belt. If your belief system happens to be Pagan or Wicca be prepared to face severe harassment especially during the Christmas holiday season. 8. Harassment and Bullying seem to be an iatrical part of Macy's business philosophy.
