Pros

The support staff at Magic Ears are literally some of the best people I've ever worked with. My hourly rate was just increased when I heard I might qualify for a higher base rate due to my background.

Cons

The only downside for me is the hours, as most days there are only 2.5 teaching hours available. They are working to expand this but as the students are Chinese school children, the hours are naturally limited. I as offered to teach some teacher trainings so that has provided one extra hours .

Pros

They really care about their students! Friendly staff - they are very accommodating, capable, and kind! Great teaching materials - they provide teachers with easy-to-use courseware that can be effectively used in class. Unique and gorgeous platform . They pay on time and they pay well! Moreover, they cover the money transfer fee every month.

Cons

The platform, although great, still has some bugs that need to be fixed, but the staff is very understanding in case unforeseen circumstances occur.

Pros

Magic Ears has shown a great deal of integrity in their effort to be transparent regarding company policy, available hours, and potential growth in secondary positions for new hires. I appreciate all their dedication to their teachers. I find them easy to communicate with and generous in their policy making. I would recommend Magic Ears to anyone looking to get into a remote position with an ESL company.

Cons

Magic Ears is a growing company still in its infancy so there are limited hours, but they are adding more opportunity every week for secondary positions.
