Worst job experience I ever had

Pros

good vacation time, slightly above average pay, work remote (sometimes).

Cons

The cons really out weight the pros. I have never worked on a company that treat its work force as bad and on a disrespectful way as this company. I would seriously do not recommend and I only stayed longer than only a few months because I really needed the job. Constant levels of pressure and stress are daily basis. The CEO has no interest on the human being and it is totally insane, he only cares about money, making it the most unethical company I worked for. No trust, do not attempt to speak up your mind or bring ideas because that will put you on the spotlight and again, the CEO does not like that. Constant fear of getting fired and no job security AT ALL. Objectives are extremely hard to reach and that adds to the feeling of constant fear of losing your job (this is their only way to motivate employees). Everything changes from day to day and there is a high level of miscommunication and disorganization. Do not ask for raise. Do not think about growing unless the CEO likes you.

Fun, agile and smart

Pros

Being one of the marketing managers at Mailjet meant I was part of a fun, agile and very intelligent team with clear and supportive leadership, who were not afraid to push boundaries, experiment with new campaigns and produce results.

Cons

Working as part of a global team, you're always bound to run into communication issues. This is an area which is seen as a challenge and is being tackled head on.

Pros

The people at a base level are great

Cons

Upper management are cliquey and nasty and think they know more than employees. Communication is dire. Organisation is worse. Trust is not there.
