Pros
Flexible hours during the weekday. Opportunity for travel internationally. Benefits are comparable. Many bright people work there (excluding the management!)
Cons
The scamming, corporate corruption and pay disparity are sick. Managers fighting managers, the results don't matter, only ego and money. None of the upper management is interested in the best results for the company, only justifying their ridiculous paychecks, while they screw the rest of the working engineers. Unrealistic deadlines for projects that ALWAYS end up being extended or cancelled. Upper management is full of regurgitated BS that they spew for convenience., Everyone is defensive and insecure of their jobs. Little cohesiveness between any team in the company, much less any of the operating companies. They'll make you work weekends and overtime with no extra pay, for projects that will only get cancelled because of upper-management politics. Contractors are so rampid there, you don't know who even actually works there! Conflict of interest and collusion between upper management and contract companies are commonplace.
