On The Road Back

Pros

Company seems to be on the road back from the problems they were having. The changes in upper management and the recent hires have helped change the outlook of the company for the better. Some former employees with technical skills have come back to work here. Company makes cool stuff and their customers seem to be returning as well. Picnic and Christmas party were fun. The vibe here has definitely improved over the past year.

Cons

You have to speak up if you want to move up. Some good people left the company over the past few years, and their technical knowledge is missed. Things seem be going along the right path, but there is still a ways to go to get back to where the company was.

Thin the herd if you use the insurance. Watch out if you are 50 or older.

Revolving Door Risky Business

Pros

They are trying to become a great company. They make interesting stuff. There were a lot of friendly people there.

Cons

Many people left over the course of three years. People were constantly coming and going. The business in general is very risky due to the fact that one issue can cost the company millions and this usually results in massive layoffs. I have witnessed entire departments fired. Since I left I have heard from employees of over 30 people being fired. There are some terrible managers in the organization. Many managers are friends with executive staff and get to keep their jobs. Although they want to be a great company they don't seem to get it requires great employees. I have seen some very talented employees go.
