Pros
Very flexible schedule - they’re willing to work with you on a schedule that works for you, pay is decent (at least in the area of the country I’m in as a remote employee), remote work
Cons
You have a static (same every week) schedule but if a holiday falls on your off days, you are required to work a shift as mandatory OT, you need to document EVERY minute of your day, calls come in right after one another (you don’t even have enough time between to take a drink of water), there is no company intranet or email, you aren’t allowed to use the company chat for anything except business questions (no good morning/goodbyes etc), training is non existent. There is no employee culture, most employees are only staying because it’s remote work during the pandemic. Benefit premiums are RIDICULOUSLY high with a high deductible. No paid maternity leave. I have heard from managers that fellow managers and senior staff are extremely racist and say highly inappropriate things behind closed doors and will spend $10k+ on alcohol at senior management Christmas parties but will not give their frontline staff raises.
