Pros

Beautiful Communities with plenty of staff

Cons

The culture at Mark-Taylor is awful. If you don't fall in-line with every single company "initiative" you're out! It's very sad to see what this company has become.

Pros

The company is not the worst but far from the best.

Cons

They are one of the lower paying communities I have worked with. Manager bonus structure is humorous. No quarterly or annual bonuses and KPIs are very poorly for role responsible. No real kickers for achiving benchmarks for take overs or lease ups like typicaly employers in the industry. There is a lot more money to be made in this industry for the extent of work done where they think $1200-$1500 in bonuses is GREAT for a manager when it is minimal. To many people who know nothing else but mark taylor in high positions. Legally they are required to give you a lunch break but you can not close your office if you are the only one there.. it makes no sense and soon will result in a legal issue. They are behind on so much industry wise for policies, pay, bonus, software that is fluid between one another and so much more. Although they lead in new innovation. It would be letter to fix what doesn't work system wise before making on all of these new projects. Community communications also is the absolute WORST. They do not know how to build excitement for growth either. There is no real way to plan a path to success here. Training dept is one of the worst I've encountered in my 10 yrs of industry experience. This culture is non inclusive and all stems frok very "blue color locker room" leadership.

Pros

Still lots of great people at Mark-Taylor.

Cons

Upper Management has taken a turn for the worst the last few years. They used to care about employees but changes in upper management has changed the focus of the company to value numbers over people. Experienced employees are being fired for no other reason than to try to save the company money.
