2 years of poor leadership has passed, back to the old Marketron ways!

Pros

Great people, great location, and the products do what the customers need. The teams work well together and work to help each other when asked. Internal systems allow everyone to share information and knowledge in a positive manner. The Tron has a solid customer base, employee base, and the right vision to move forward.

Cons

The last four years has been a tough road for Marketron and their clients. The private equity group that was in charge stripped the soul out of the place by bring in a new CEO/CFO who thought they had it all figured out. They had no idea what they were doing or how to run a software company. They brought in their buddies and wives to run the place. They over spent on personal items and stripped all the perks and benefits from the employees. Customers suffered as well and have been left holding the bag. A lot of good people left the company (many still remain) because of the poor leadership. Good news is that a new leadership team was brought in and they are working hard to correct the damage that has been done. From what I hear the place is returning to the ways of old; honesty, trust, and respect is now in place.

Thank you for your feedback. In 2012, Marketron was purchased by new owners and hired a new CEO and CFO. This change in ownership as well as our senior management team has greatly benefited both customers of Marketron and employees. Marketron is developing new products that our clients love. Employee satisfaction has been steadily increasing since the change of senior management.

Marketron is a great company to work for and our employees stay with us. It says a lot about an organization when you celebrate continued success with employees that have stayed with Marketron for over 30 years. You are correct, communication is important and our management team continues to work on improving communication throughout the company.
