Pros
I have been an employee of Marvin Engineering for over 20 years. I have personally witnessed the evolution of this company first hand. Although Marvin has had some Growing pains this is to be expected when you have Explosive growth. What I can tell you is time and time again I have seen Employee’s leave for what they thought were greener pastures only to return to Marvin. I would also like to say how thankful I am to have the Best Damn Health insurance policy around. This is not just me saying it either. Every doctor I go to tells me straight out WOW your insurance is the best we have seen. I have to agree the insurance provided by Marvin is above and Beyond. The owners have hands-on approach to the business that many businesses do not have. I have worked for companies and the owner never even knew my name. Not the case with Marvin. I have on Several occasions addressed concerns with the heads of the company and they Stopped and listened and took my concerns seriously. Often when the owners notice a problem they are quick to bring it up so it gets corrected. I would also like to mention that Marvin is constantly modernizing the systems (robotics) so there is lots of opportunity for growth. And yes we now have a really nice lunch room at both the main office location as well as the other office down the road with plenty of refrigerators and toaster ovens and microwaves for employees. We now have Gourmet coffee machines serving up Free coffee all day. As for parking, this has been improved with the addition of the oak office with plenty of parking as well as shuttle service running all day.
Cons
The need to make massive changes has caused some Stress on the company but it is clear we are overcoming these obstacles.
