Pros

Ability to interact with various guests Commission on almost everything you sell Feedback on performance, both positive and negative Almost any time asked off is granted Wonderful retreat director (at my location at least)

Cons

The commission is not very good- only $1 for upselling elevations (hot stones, foot scrub or face massage), even though these are supposed to make a big difference in whether guests sign up for memberships The selling method is very pushy, and employees are encouraged not to take no for an answer A lot of gossip, cattiness and backstabbing- many girls try and thwart others out of sales Sales contests are not always followed through with

Pros

Fellow therapist were easy to get along with.

Cons

If you're not a favorite of the girls at the front desk, you're not getting a lot of bookings. Pretty sure I wasn't getting paid the amount I was told I would be getting paid in the interview. Shortened my hours with no notice or reason. Tried to write me up for something they claimed to have spoken to me about when the only time I found out about the issue was when I was told I would be written up. Claiming they talked to me about the issue. When they never did. Miss the owner off, she will look for a reason to fire you. I had to take an emergency leave back home to FL because my grandmother was dying (not a lie) and I came back and found out I was fired for it.

Phenomenal at first- but urned into drama island.

Pros

I loved the family environment! When I first started the team was small, and we all worked so well with each other and reached some amazing goals!!! I was so proud to represent Massage Heights!

Cons

As I got further into my career with Massage Heights, I started to notice favoritism. They lacked major communication with team members and allowed drama to enter into the Work place- completely depleting the family environment. I left due to the “high school” feel and lack of respect for longtime employees. I look for something more professional and relaxing.
