Relaxing job but no professional growth

Simple tasks, good relaxing work environment, good for current undergraduate students looking for part-time work, good place to practice maths for kids (especially elementary kids), good managers

Cons

Low pay, no benefits, no job security, onboarding/work priority not organized for instructors, focus on selective good students and less attention given to weak students (such students often just pass time and go), not good for preparation of an upcoming test or for high school students, indifferent student attitude, not for professional growth

Pros

Everyone is friendly and it is a good way to get experience working with children. I was trying to see if becoming a teacher would be the right fit for me, and this experience has been crucial in my decision.

Cons

The hours are minimal and only during the evenings.

Pros

Great experience, Boss always had my back, co-workers were gracious and fair with sharing workloads.

Cons

Your expected to learn strange new ways of writing and the need to tutor 4 kids at once is probably similar to working as an air-traffic controller. Main difference though is Air Traffic controllers receive 15min breaks after 15mins of work. Incredibly tiring and stressful job.
