Pros

decent pay rate, the math is usually pretty simple, not physically demanding by any means

Cons

very limited operating hours, so even if you work the whole shift everyday they're open, you're looking at 20 hours a week max. The previous owner of the Center was very nice and generous; however, the new owners are not. My schedule was reduced more than it already was, even though I was told that I would get more, and I'm not getting paid as much as I was before. Your experience may be determined by the owners of the Center you work for. Finally, the "Math Center" more often than not is a math themed daycare for elementary students.

It's great for college students because the hours are flexible and the work is not very demanding. The atmosphere is great as well.

Cons

Not a ton of room for growth and the pay as an instructor isn't great.

Pros

Place is pretty awesome, everyone is friendly with each other. You also get to sit down during work so that's pretty cool.

Cons

The hours are pretty bad, the most you'll get out of is around 15~ 16 hours. You won't be making much here. It is more of a temporary job
