Pros

Awesome company to work for, great alternative for an Educator who enjoys non-traditional hours (2nd shift) and is interested in earning more money than teaching. As a Center Director you have a set base salary (depending upon size of center) and also work on commission. This creates a fun and challenging workplace, but ultimately rewarding as you help students overcome their fear/deficiencies in Math.

Cons

If you work Full Time for Mathnasium and do not put in the work, you will be stuck with a low-salary and no growth potential. This company requires passionate employees, and if you can be responsible and hardworking, there truly are zero "cons"

Pros

Decent pay, seemed like there was a fair amount of potential for promotions at least to regional/branch management. Fun interacting with kids.

Cons

Teaching methods were too structured and rigid, not enough time spent with each individual kid, expected to tutor 5+ kids at once which made it very difficult to give them attention.

Pros

Great place to work if you like kids and math. The philosophy is the fact the instructors come to students and not the other way, which is very good for the students' progress on assignments.

Cons

It's a great job to have. Staff is very friendly. I have not been given a solid reason as to why I have not been getting any hours since October especially when other instructors are getting theirs.
