Pros

Great training resources, consistent and appropriate feedback from upper management, awesome discounts and rewards, competitive pay/bonuses, the company is always finding ways to connect with our customer base and includes rewards for us in the process.

Cons

Must have great time management skills, and have a team of go getters. Our team is motivated mostly by success so our collective jobs are much easier!

Pros

The other associates and I got along very well and I would even call them my friends. I got lots of experience talking to customers and learning about fashion along the way.

Cons

Where do I begin? The store manager liked to pick and choose which rules to apply when they suited her and often broke company rules. This caused a very stressful work environment with heavy pressure to sell, sell, sell. If you didn't do well, you had bizarre punishments like having to wear ugly dress pants on certain days. We didn't work on commission but it certainly seemed like it. If your "numbers" weren't great and you were the weakest seller you were moved to freight. In freight, you are scheduled four hours but you only work maybe two because there's only so much to do. However, on certain days I had to run the front of the store by myself while the managers had their meeting for an hour. I never got credit for the sales I did while out there because I wasn't an associate and had to put the sales under the other managers' names.

Pros

The company doesn't give us a ton of tasks so we are able to focus on customers. They create a fun learning environment to reach our full potential. They really push to develop everyone to their full potential and beyond.

Cons

Personal sales goals without commission seem, at times, to be an unnecessary stressor. Some of the ways the company organizes its paperwork and weekly info seems to be a bit inefficient.
