      Pros

      MaxVal is very well placed in its niche of intellectual asset management (IAM) in the IP domain. MaxVal has a challenging environment with a lot of scope for learning the IP domain. MaxVal has global presence and clients. Great incentives and employee-friendly policies. MaxVal's cafetaria has a new makeover.

      Cons

      Deadlines have to be met.

      Hi there, thanks for your feedback! The management team works round the clock to meet all deadlines. Most of these are set by the clients and MaxVal's reputation banks on meeting them. We are in a competitive industry, where tardiness is not appreciated. However, we request employees to work with us to get the necessary support to meet set deadlines.

      Hello! We have well-defined communication channels that our associates are aware of. The manager is the go-to person for any issues they face, but the management is also approachable for any pertinent issues. Domain and process training is conducted by our internal experts, who have been in the industry for a very long time. These training sessions are created after referring multiple external modules available, which will equip new joiners to get on the job quickly.

      Pros

      I am with MaxVal for a little more than 5 years now. The journey has been rewarding and challenging so far. For those who are willing to explore their potential in the IP space, MaxVal is the right platform to nurture it. Friendly and professional atmosphere with proper guidance is an added advantage.

      Cons

      Not a con in true sense, but having meetings beyond office hours (even though you are informed/aware of it earlier) is sometimes frustrating.

      Hello! We make sure that the meetings are scheduled within the working hours of our associates. Client-facing roles do require associates to join calls after business hours to accommodate client requests. But this would be communicated to the individual while interviewing for the role. Top performers are always awarded cash awards and are also taken care of during the appraisal process.
