Look, I understand being a Recuiter is VERY hard. It's a thankless job managing a group of workers with reliability challanges, and providing a service to some very tough clients that feel 100% coverage is their entitlement. But, no one ever said running a multi-million dollar branch was a breeze, let alone going from your first day to branch manager in a few years. It's a short, very tough climb to the top. There are some very tough days. The only ones that don't make it don't have the work ethic, or can't cut it, but once become an Account Manager, there are so many rewards: unlimited income potiential, very attractive company stock rewards, and the ability to promote your Recruiters to become branch managers too. If you're a performer, earning a six figure income is VERY possible within a few years. Most Account Managers do. Maxim is about OPPORTUNITY, short and sweet. For those that want to bash, they are the ones that either couldn't make it, and thus wouldn't be able to run a branch successfully, or perhaps had poor leaders. Not everyone is perfect. My days as a Recuiter were very tough. But, I stayed the course, and have been running a branch for over 5 years and make a GREAT income, more than any of my college friends and anyone else I personally know. It's not always that way though, some markets are tougher than others. I still have bad days, but what job doesn't. The company has changed SOOOO much over the last 3 years in a VERY good way. The company has a zero tolerance policy for unethical behavior or dishonesty. For those that make bad choices, they lose their job, plain and clear. For those that work hard, put in their time, they are rewarded and when they grow their branch, and provide solid leadership for their team, they prosper, like any job. Serious opportunity. I am an example of one who understood it was a tough climb in a tough business. I deal with things my friends think I'm crazy for it, but running a branch and being a leader is what drives me. Maxim offers that everyday. Reward for hard work and ethical behavior. If that's not you, then Maxim's not for you. Best decision I've made, no regrets. Solid company, especially in the past 3 years.

55 hours per week in the office, and on-call. But, once you get promoted to a Account Manager(branch manager), you shouldn't be on-call, Recruiters do that. Being a Recruiter is very hard, but if you want to make more than $70,000 in business, you would need 5-10 years experience, or many degrees. Maxim replaces degrees and years of experience with sweat. If you can't do it, it's not for you. It's like being a Navy Seal, very hard at times, and not everyone is cut out for it. Running any business is not easy, especially in home healthcare. We have many great, reliable caregivers that provide care to our patients, but a few poor employees creates 90% of your challanges. 55 hours a week is a lot, but what job with REAL opportunity only takes 40 hours per week??? None.
