Pros

The benefits are very good, but it's definitely because they have to be to keep people around. Golden handcuffs for sure.

Cons

Culture and Management. I truly hated this job and would wake up anxious about going to work everyday. The benefits are very good if you stick around, but I did not think the strain on my mental health was worth it. If it's your only job offer I get it, a job is a job, but if you have another option, I would strongly suggest taking it. If you are trying to reconcile the good and bad reviews for this company on here, make sure to look at the job titles. Supervisors seem to like their roles and entry level employees find them soul crushing.

Pros

pay and benefits. Good resume builder for folks with liberal arts backgrounds.

Cons

Everything else. Management undercutting each other for the next move, meaningless and mundane work, inconsistent performance evaluations. Once this place decides a narrative about you, there's no changing it. They will belittle you until you quit or until they fire you. So, make sure you've got a good therapist :) Don't worry, their insurance covers it,

Pros

Pays well. Great starting salary and profit-sharing bonus that can be close to 4-5 months salary at the end of the year. Wonderful perks to the job, such as company-provided health/dental/vision insurance, 100% tuition reimbursement and 25% of your yearly earnings placed into a retirement trust--no contribution required but it takes 6 years to be fully vested. Great "work-life balance". You will work exactly 40 hours a week. If you're asked to work overtime, it is 1.5x.

Cons

The work itself is not interesting. Management is comprised of many young individuals out of Ivy-league schools, and most of them lack leadership/people skills. There is a lot of micromanaging (I.e. people expecting you to constantly be at your desk, wondering where you are if you're simply using the restroom) and nitpicking (I.e. constantly critiquing your work and focusing on everything you've done wrong, spending little to no time focusing on what you're doing right). Scheduling is NOT flexible. Your shift is based on seniority, so if you are new, you'll be required to work the late shift (10-7pm). Vacation Day requests also based on seniority, so you may not have a great chance at taking off vacation during popular times of the year (ie. Christmas, New Years, etc.).
