Pros

MedStar offers great benefits- medical/dental/vision, 401k with a match, tuition reimbursement, relocation assistance, 4 weeks of PTO in 1st year which increases with tenure, excellent pay, annual merit increases, etc.

Cons

The leadership within HR/Talent Acquisition is very poor. Advancement opportunities are offered on the DL to “friends/favorites” without informing the internal team of the openings, employees with no prior management experience are hired into management level roles and poorly manage their team because of it. TA Managers don’t stand behind their employees when dealing with hiring managers. Visible favoritism. Unfair management

Pros

family member received excellent care as a patient

Cons

toxic, phony, backbiting management that pretends to care about your growth and development when actually working with other managers to fire you for the same mistakes other employees make and keep their jobs!
