      Heavy work load in HR

      Pros

      Camaraderie in our department. Opportunity to learn/grow in areas outside your direct line of work. Hired great people and mentored them to grow and achieve.

      Cons

      The workload is crushing; everyone is so burned out. I worked at MSH for almost 20 years and nobody cared when I left, not one person reached out for an exit interview. The CHRO is not connected to the front-line HR employees who do all the work.

      On boarding process took two weeks

      Cons

      Very antiquated. Need fresh ideas and older staff need to be receptive to new processes. Pay is below market need to investigate if employees are being paid fairly compared to their colleagues.

      Small Company feel, big company benefits

      Plenty of job opportunities, decent benefits, 401k matching and flexible work schedule.

      Cons

      Remote work not an option even though half of my job is on a computer.
