Pros

The pay is better than a lot of other hospitals, flexible hours, a lot of resources are available.

Cons

Communication is lacking, lack of accountability from management, meangirl-ish like work environment, the Metairie location doesn't have room for advancement. It seems as if they only want you to stay in one position

Thank you for review. MedVet is an independently owned organization that continues to grow our current team members and provide career opportunities as skills and experience are learned. The last few years a lot of work and effort has been put into analyzing job descriptions, role assignment, and fair pay within each geographic area. We are constantly re-evaluating these items and making adjustments where needed. We have made huge improvements in various areas and it has been exciting to share these improvements with our current team members. Caregivers are eligible for raises twice a year with our biyearly employee reviews , and we encourage you to reach out to your Clinical Manager, HR Partner, or Hospital Director with any questions or clarification.
