      Pros

      Amazing coworkers Great quality medicine being practiced State of the art facility

      Cons

      Employees (in particular hourly staff) are not adequately supported The ER, ward and ICU nursing shifts are chronically understaffed leading to burnout and, at worst, poor patient care when busy The dedication and work of the hourly employees is not recognized and rewarded - financially or in terms of efforts for employee growth

      Pros

      Benefits of working for a larger company but they still look at each staff member as their number one priority. Staff are not just a number in the organization but an individual. Great company to be a part of.

      Cons

      Being a larger company it can take longer for decisions to be seen by the staff on the floor. Does not mean it is not getting heard but may appear like progress is not being made since alot is done behind the scenes to minimize stress on the staff on the floor. Some staff as a result perceive this as not making progress which is NOT the case. Just takes time.

      Pros

      Working at MedVet is the only way to utilize the skills gained by those who study advanced medicine. There is no higher standard of care in veterinary medicine; its no wonder MedVet is called the "Mayo clinic of veterinary medicine". I love all the people I work with and helping thousands of patients and clients, as we do every year.

      Cons

      Being the best comes with the consequence of always being very busy. This can be straining mentally and physically.
