Pros

I've have been working here for almost a year now, and it’s been great so far. It’s a fast-moving company with a lot of smart, passionate people. The company holds Monday and Friday company-wide meetings which provides a good idea of what other teams are working on.

Cons

The business has grown quickly, and is still developing company-wide processes to deal with this growth.

Overall Bad Experience -- Steer Clear

Pros

Nice office, access to small on-site gym, located in safe neighborhood, free snacks, occasional company events, most people get a computer, health insurance, and 5 sick days.

Cons

No 401k, no parking (2 hour and 4 hour street parking, so must move car throughout day), only 10 vacation days, unable to work from home, required to work 8am-6pm with minimal flexibility, no parental leave policy, managers are mostly those who have been at the company the longest (and do not receive management training), high turn over rate (many people leave within 6 months), no mentorship opportunities, most people are inexperienced so little opportunity to learn from others, overall poor employee morale, direction of company changes at the whim of the sales department, poor communication, no financial transparency, minimal diversity, employees feel micromanaged, no room for advancement, no organized performance reviews, benefits packages vary from person to person, and no room for innovative thinking.

Startup Mindset

Pros

In 2015, we just hit 50 people and continuing to grow, so there are ample opportunities for growth within the company. Start with 2 weeks of vacation and get 3 more every year for a maximum of 4 weeks. Startup mindset: room to voice opinions and ideas - everyone has a voice. Beer o'clock Friday afternoon meetings. Ultimate goal is helping people by improving outcomes, so great work satisfaction. Lots of work variety and opportunity to learn additional disciplines.

Cons

Only 7 paid holidays per year.
