Medbridge reviews

My story is like many others. I was baited with a full-time position after 5 intensive interviews, but was given a contract-to-hire agreement to test my abilities. Unfortunately, this time frame kept getting extended with no explanation. Once after the 3rd contract extension, it came time to talk full-time salary. This meeting was put off several times and once it happened, it was rushed in a way that I have never encountered with other companies. Many employees here are over worked and greatly underpaid. To me, it appears that the company succeeds due to its "turn and burn" employment model. Get people in cheap, work them hard, then cut them loose once they get fed up, then move onto the next recent grad. For those who are willing to stick it out, this kind of situation can be a powerful learning opportunity and a way to build up your resume. However, I found the company's owner to be consistently dishonest with his employment practices. I truly hope medbridge evolves to find more sustainable ways of managing its staff. The actual service itself is impressive and highly competitive in its market. Unfortunately, its the result of a lot of under appreciated and underpaid work from very talented recent graduates.

I'm 90% positive that the CEO (and/or his management minions) are writing these 4/5 star reviews to counter all the negative reviews. Regardless, he should know that current employees are laughing at them all. I feel a little bad being publicly critical, but MedBridge has had it coming, and with fair warning too. I've put off posting this for too long. People who have expressed their concerns to the CEO (respectfully) have left soon after (even without jobs lined up), been advised to leave, or were fired. (Earlier comment about 15+/50 people leaving just this year is true). Don't believe the "open-door-policy" he claims to have. It's a trap. Since the last firing (which was done with no sound reason), he has lost so many employees' trust. The CEO was sly to target newly graduated, "yes men". Like other reviews have said, almost everyone at the company is in their 20's so it's difficult to learn and grow. On top of that, I don't see any evidence of management training. Promotions are clearly based on seniority (and favoritism) and not by actual ability to manage. To keep this post shorter than I would like to, I'll say, as of the time of this post, I have read and support all information shared in previous comments made with 1-2 stars about both pros and cons. I'm running out of here once I have a job lined up. ||| Advice to Prospective Employees: Avoid MedBridge until there's a new CEO. I honestly advise you to be suspicious of any ratings 4+. But if you dare to give it a shot, make sure to cover all your bases in writing before signing - including specific work hours, needing to work on weekends, travel needs, holidays, benefits (including stocks which I hear only a special few have), etc. Verbal promises mean nothing at all.
