Pros

I been with the company since February and during the first month we had a good solid week of training to help prepare us for the sales floor. This was very essential and was beneficial especially since I had no prior sales experience on the floor. They really make sure you understand the material as well as the systems you will be selling to your clients. At first it seem overwhelming and you will be eager to get out on the floor. Keep in mind though sales can be like the weather, it can change on a dime and you will have good days and bad days. However the reward for sticking it out is awesome. The company as a whole is wonderful to work with and I truly appreciate the assistance the managers provide for us and the fact they have our backs if there is any issues. One thing that is also great about working at Medical Guardian are the various perks that come along with that as a easily accessible market area in the cafeteria as well as a place to store your lunch or dinner. As a sales rep there are many contests going on that allow you the opportunity to win gift cards to various places. The office is very clean and friendly and everyone is willing to provide assistance even sales reps who have been with the company for a good amount of time. This is very helpful for those who are first starting out as you do not have to worry about asking for advice from other reps, they will give you an honest response.

Cons

There are only a few downsides that I can think of. The first is not having any way for clients to leave you a voicemail. The other thing is that the company used to allow clients to reach out to you via your personal phone but it only takes one person to ruin that and it is no longer an option. This company is not work from home which would be nice to have but I can see the issues that it may cause and what the company would have to do. However when there is very bad weather such as snow the company will allow those who are working that day to work from home. One other issue and this can happen at any sales job, is the chance that other reps will steal your sale if you are not in the office. However that will happen to them and you may get the chance to make up for that. Though most of the Sales reps here will let you know and send you a message saying hey call this client back.

Pros

The CEO cares enough to meet with and discuss the opinions of the employees ! The activation of devices and knowing that you have helped someone gives a sense of accomplishment!

Cons

There is nothing bad enough to consider not working here.

Pros

I have had many many sales jobs in my career. My last several jobs were full of empty promises that never came to fruition. After a few months at Medical Guardian, I am doing very well and have to say that this is one of the best sales jobs that I have ever had. I believe in the product that I sell, and love helping older people be able to retain their independence for longer.

Cons

Really can't think of any!!!
